Aberargy - Inaugural Release

Aberargie consistently follows a "barley-to-bottle" philosophy. For the inaugural release, the barley comes entirely from their own 300-acre farm – 52% Golden Promise and 48% Laureate . Maturation took place in a combination of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, non-chill filtered, and without added coloring , the result is a clearly defined house style, developed entirely independently from the ground up.

Aromatic notes of baked apple and golden pastry emerge, followed by sultanas and prunes. A subtle herbal note provides a lasting, balanced finish.

Situated on the border between the Highlands and Lowlands, Aberargie is shaped by both its agricultural heritage and its artisanal distilling tradition. As a family-run, independent distillery, the team manages every stage of production on-site – from growing the barley to distillation, maturation, and bottling. This holistic approach gives the whisky its distinctive identity.
