Glenturret 14 - Peat Smoke - Release 2024

At Barvick Burn, where the Highlands rise, lies what is probably the oldest working distillery in Scotland. The Glenturret Distillery was first documented in 1763. However, whisky was likely being distilled on the site many years before that. The small distillery's low, whitewashed buildings house only two copper stills, along with wooden washbacks and a historic malt mill. Production methods are largely the same as they were 250 years ago. Above all: with hand and heart.

Not exactly new, but now available from us: the distillery-exclusive Glenturret 14 Year Old Peat Smoked. The combination of peated and unpeated distillates creates a wonderfully approachable dram for those who enjoy a delicate smokiness. The pleasantly smooth smoke blends with citrus notes and hints of lemon sponge cake.
