Kanosuke Single Malt - Limited Edition 2023

In 2017, Kanosuke began production with three unique pot stills: each differs in the shape of its neck and the angle of its lyne arm. Whether through redistillation in different stills or blending distillates from the trio of pot stills, Kanosuke is (as repeatedly proven in competitions) able to create whiskies with great depth and an exceptionally smooth texture.

The Kanosuke 2023 Limited Edition is based on peated whisky distilled between 2018 and 2019. For maturation, Master Blender Yoshitsugu Komasa and his team used both iconic Mellowed Kozuru casks and sherry casks. The result? An intense, smooth experience with a sweet, fruity, and pleasantly smoky aroma that evolves on the palate into herbal notes, apple pie, and gentle cinnamon spice, before the whisky finishes with a long, warm aftertaste of spicy honey and delicate peat.
